Dinner at Mayim again ....

Last Friday 05 May 2009, me and Ah-Lom dined at Mayim again. He finished his 2nd interview and hope he can make through the 3rd interview. Pray hard for him ^_^. Ganbatte-ne Ah-Lom-san ..... We love that place as the food is nice and not expensive considering the place. The most that we ordered is always more or less 20 bucks for 3 dishes. So this time Ah-Lom ordered the food while me as usual, playing with the camera phone. Snapping pics here and there. I find this quite unique. But too bad the waitress and my hand is in the way.
Dish #1: Mushrooms with Bamboo Shoot Soup
This soup is not oily. Surprisingly, it was not bland too. There was a strong mushroom and chicken taste in this soup. At the same time, the sweetness of the soup was enhanced with the addition of of bamboo shoots. A good combination. I love this soup!!

Dish #2: Ham, Mushrooms and Chicken Spinach
This is a normal dish but was arranged in a attractive way. Although, it's not that hard to make this dish, but the way they arrange it makes the dish looks appealing. Not too expensive too.

Dish #3: Fried Rice with Duck Meat Gravy
This is the main dish and the most delicious dish out of the three. Rice was first fried. Then, a gravy made out from duck meat was served as the toppings of the rice. This makes the fried rice not too oily and not too dry. Hmm... their rice taste as good as their noodles when we tried last time. Very good.

Eating out with a person that who shares food is the best. This is because you will not feel bored. However, on fine dining etiquette, sharing food is not allowed. But, who cares cos sharing food is something that makes eating soooooooo fun!! Only when at certain occasion, you will need to behave appropriately and accordingly. *Wink*
