Tired...tired...

Yeah, I am tired. Very really plus desperately tired. However, work must go on NO MATTER WHAT!! I have a whole loads of journal paper to read. About 50 more or so. I need to do some auditing work since the environmental officer is coming to inspect the lab. Loads to do. Chemicals list, MSDS (material safety data sheets), the safety procedures, the procedures of each equipments, GOSH.... plus my experiments and abstract writting... the deadline are all at the same time!! hmm how am I ever going to keep up with that!!
My eyes just cant open wide!! Even now it keeps closing. Anything that can help me to make my eyes wide open. Sometimes, I just hope I have more than 24 hours or have more hands and brains to work on. Sigh...but bo pian... Just take the challenge gracefully as it comes then since I cant avoid it. Kami-sama please grant me more time to work on...please... If I pass this stage successfully, I think I can become wonder woman already. Hahahhahahahaha..... Hopefully things will turn out fine. My fellow bloggers and readers who are reading this post please pray hard with me so that I am able to work everything out.
Be strong to withstand whatever that come!! Ok eyes really cannot make it...Good night!!!

Christmasu Approaching~ Presento presento~~ -_-"

Christmas is in the air again... Although I am so damn busy with work, I did not forget to decorate the lifeless lab that I am working in. Hahahahhahahhaa ... There is a snowman welcoming anyone that comes in and happily bidding anyone goodbyes when they are leaving the lab. Cool heh?! The thought came in a few days ago to buy something to decorate the lab. So that it will become a little livelier and a better environment to work in. I just cant resist this cute little snowman when I passed by Wastson this morning. Not too bad, huh? Hehehehehe
The night before I went to West Coast Plaza just to snap some pictures of the decorations while I was on my way back from lab. It's the best time to take the pics of those decor since there are not many people around (it's about 10pm when I reached). Look at the christmas trees... look at the reindeer... and the most important presents!!!!!! Since I know I wont be getting any this year, so I just snap them to keep them as a memory. Hmm... I think they are quite well taken. Good good... seems that my skill has improve a little. However, taking the angle took quite a while and the passer by are so curious with my posture while taking the pics. Hahahahhahaha ... But who cares as long as I enjoyed the moment. Nothing really matters, right?

Then, of course, I will never forget to snap a few of myself playing with the Christmas tree although it warned DO NOT TOUCH HIGH VOLTAGE ... *fainted* There was a uncle wanted to take a pics of me. But .... Thanks uncle but I can manage myself *Smile* ... The security guard also looked at me one kind. Don't know why. Maybe cannot stand my craziness. Hahahhahahaha.... Well, that's part of me. A little crazy is a must to have else it is DEFINITELY NOT me. That's makes everyone's life happy and wonderful ... I guess ... maybe not .. Hehehehhe

This really released my stress that I had been coping with. Able to continue my work again. Till then and it's time for me to go ZzzzZZzzzzZZzzZZZZZzzzzzz ... quite tired. Need to do reading and experiments tomorrow. More is to come!! Keep my fingers crossed and hope everything will turn out fine at the end of the day. Kami-sama, douka everything will be daijobu-ne~~ ^o^

Formosa Delights Again

Yes, it's Formosa Delights again. I appointed Gong for lunch and it takes forever for him to wake up...sad...OK back to the topic. Our initial intention is to find some nice food in West Coast Plaza. But, gosh...a lot of eateries aint open yet. Except the BBQ Chicken where you need to queue for a long time. So we decided to change our location to Formosa delights. Imagine what we reach there at about 1230pm and we only manage to get our food at 130pm. So sad... and my stomach was rumbling like what. Protesting me for not giving it enough food. To be honest I really love this restaurant. A lot! *Nodding my head hard agreeing with what I am saying* Needless to mention why. I think you can see from the pics that it is so damn crowded. From Monday to Sunday, lunch and dinner are always soo crowded. I wonder how much is their earnings per month... Hehehehhehehe...

So while waiting for the food to arrive, I played around with my camera, which now it's a must for me to bring it anywhere so that I can just snap the moments that I like especially on FOOOD!!! Hohohohoho *Laughing loudly and wickedly* =P. But it seems the food takes forever to come. I complained to Gong for almost half an hour. Whining non-stop saying I was hungry. The intention is to make him guilty *Evil grins* but seems that he didnt catch it. Sigh.... ok forget about it. I called the waitress asking her to speed up the food by telling her "cutely" that I am hungry and to my surprise in 5-10mins time, she served the dumpling. Yay~~~~~~ *Success* Hehehehehe....

So TADAA~~~ the dumpling came and I manage to snap a pic. Sorry Gong~ you have to wait for a while cos I need to snap the moments of the food. The dumplings were boiled to cook rather than last time where I ordered the pan-fried type. Well, this taste much better than the pan-fried ones cos it is not oily. Good for me hahahahaha.... And by the way you look at how the way Gong eat I think you guys can pretty much guess how hungry are we. It's like we had not eaten for several days. Too bad we ordered only six. We should have ordered more cos we waited for the food to come again and 3 each just wasnt enough to fill the really totally empty stomach. Hungry~~~ Hungry~~~~~

Just look at our faces anticipating for the food. We looked around the restaurant and a lot of people eating and chomping their food down their esophagus tract. AND WE ARE WAITING FOR OUR FOOOD??? SOO UNFAIR....WE WANT JUSTICE!! -Sad- Cant do anything except drooling. -Hwaaaaaaaaaaaa- Therefore, we decided to distract ourselves by
(i) Gong was busy with his calls. Like he was doing a multi-billion business. It's like more than 3 calls for sure.... but I dont understand what he was saying since he was speaking in Thai Language.
(ii) For me, I was posing in acting cute hahahahhahahahaa.... to get myself away from boredness..... hehehehee... a typical me =P
Finally, the two main lead actor and actress came!!! Yaaaaaaaaaaahooooooooooo!!!! Stirred fried Kailan and diced bun spicy chicken. Hmm.. not too bad but not as good as I expected. Kailan was a little to salty and oily. The chicken taste good in the first few bites but too spicy I think. It will be better if the chicken is less spicy. They put in peanuts and sesame paste into the soup I think and it was served real HOT. Just look at the fuming soup from the pics. Geeee~~Exciting. Then you deep the fried bun into the soup and it taste good with the bun. Nice meal. I guess the person that you are having the meal with is important too. Without the right eating companion, you just wont enjoy the food no matter how good or tasty the food is. Well, I have experienced it! I definitely know how it feels.Feel extremely good in treating my stomach well..hehehehehe *Chomp*Chomp*Chomp*

Here goes the food folks! Enjoy reading and hope to see you guys in future to come. Happy reading and blogging!! Matta-ne~~ Kekekekeke *Laughing sinisterly again* =D

Xiaodoudou.blogspot.com

This is really a good blog, which inspires us. Making us to forgive, forget and live today at the fullest as tomorrow will never come. I, somehow, came across this blog in Jeslyn's Blog. Although, it's a blog of two years ago, I think it serves it's purpose as an inspiration for us to uptake any challenge in our life. I cant help but to agree with Jeslyn that you will really cry after you read this blog. Reality is just to cruel for a cute girl like her but she stayed positive most of the time.
We have so much time to whine, complain, be angry, jealous, fight, quarrel, revenge, compare till we forgot to love, be honest, happy and most important be true to ourselves plus kind to others. For Xiaodoudou, she didn't have a choice and time to complain and be angry. She can only accept what that has come to her. During her treatment of her 3rd stage cancer, she manage to live her life to her fullest and make people around her happy not mentioning not to let her loved ones worry about her. Though, there might be no achievement, no Nobel prize but she enjoyed every second that she is struggling to live on happily and positively. I salute her spirit to live on. Therefore, sit back and take a time to think what have we the healthies been doing all this time? Well, it's time to change our perception towards challenges in life that comes forward. Nothing is too difficult than facing death. Accept the challenges gracefully as it comes. BE BLESSED THAT WE ARE STILL ALIVE!

~HENSHIN~ A walk to remember

"Change!" It's a word that everyone dislike to hear when someone tells you about it. But, hey, cool down, lay back a little and think what they have to say to you. I was once a stubborn person when there are people asking me to change on the way on how I look. I was damn offended by that when people make a remarks on how ugly I look and I should change. However, when I cool off and start to think about it, hmmm... well.. maybe it's really time to change on the way on how I look. Not for others but for a better self either in personality wise or appearance wise. I started to understand that I have to keep my youth while I still have the ability to. *Sinister laugh*
Have you ever have the same situation as I was and really resisted it like any anti-society group? Well, probably you should laid back and ponder about it. I am definitely sure that when the person dare to comment you face to face, he really cares about you but of course there are people who doesn't really care but just simply want to put a remarks and thinks they are really very great about themselves. For this type of people just ignore their remarks and keeps those who are sincere towards their comments.
Alrite let's see how I change from year 2003 to 2008. Yes, 5 years!!! And it's up to you guys to judge whether I have changed to become better or the other way round. Pictures before that are not in digital form and maybe you guys will even see a bigger bigger changes from what I was last time. Year 2003 is my longest hair that I ever had. Before that, all along I only have boy cut ... too bad those who knows me in my current state dont believe me ... trust me. So everytime I have to flash my Malaysian I identity card to prove them that I am telling the truth. I have been keeping long hair since then. Why? Cos my mum doesnt allow me to cut my hair short due to my tomboyish character. -Sad- She said I behave too tomboyish so short hair will make a lot of guys runaway from me hahahahhahahaha of course she said this jokingly. However, I am not worry cos fate will running knocking at your door when the time is right. Therefore, just enjoy the privilege that I still have while I am still single. Hahahahahhahaha
Okay...picture time. Enjoy while I did a little description of each year. Actually, I have too many pictures to upload. Therefore, I just randomly picked out a few.
Year 2003

Those were taken when I was doing my Master of Civil-Environmental Management in UTM. This is when I started to keep my hair long. Well, just look at the innocent and playful look, which I dont possess the first character anymore. The experience throughout the years has seasoned me a lot and I am still being season now to uptake any challenges in life that is coming along! *Grins widely till you cant see my eyes* Hahahhahaha

Year 2004-2005

Now coming into my working years as lecturer in INTI College Malaysia after I finished my master degree. Well, it seems that I am getting rounder by years. Hahahahhahaha However, I do think the face change to become more mature a little bit I think. However, nothing much change on the look and grooming wise (I will sometime write a topic on personal grooming too). They still look the same.
Year 2006

This year was the year where I was admitted to NUS in singapore and I start to change drastically. Probably it's due to it's easier to the way people dress here where they really groom themselves or because I am getting older and hope to retain my younger days, which I didnt do last time when I was studying in UTM, Malaysia.
Year 2007

Again, year 2007 seems that I started to get better, no?? But I think I did, hmmmmmm....or I am making a mistake here *Scratching my head*

Early and mid Year 2008

Those were taken early this year. The latter ones I have already post them in my October 2008 blog with the title Photoshoot Outing -if you guys are curious enough, maybe can browse it there. Hahahahhahaha.
Well, that's it guys. It's time for my house cleaning task before I am off to school. Thanks for reading it through. This might trigger the thoughts in guys and girls who is yet to transform. Believe me, it only take A BIG STEP to change. I have changed and is still changing and so can you. So dont depress over on how you look. Be confident and start changing! I believe you guys and gals will change into the most beautiful butterfly in the garden IF you are willing to take the initiative to! Nothing is impossible and making the impossible possible!! *Wink+Smile*

NUS SUN Bistro

This is a new restaurant, just opened recently at NUS Staff Club called SUN Bistro. Previously, it was another restaurant but I don't know what's it called. Never been there though I always pass through the front door when I go for my jogging session. Till recently Huiling told me about this restaurant and saying the restaurant is affordable. So decided to try it out since I appointed a friend (Mr. Wong Hoong Shing) of mine for dinner. Initially, I never thought that the restaurant will be somewhat fancy type of restaurant. But the moment I stepped in it... OMG ... it looks totally totally very superbly very awesome (considering that this .. well.. university) and you dont expect somewhat a fancy restaurant to be appear in some corner of NUS. I was totally awed (just that I didnt awed with my mouth dropped for the sake of my image ... hahaha...) Well, it's better to look at the pic rather than just keep babbling about how nice it is. A very romantic place I would say but sigh...too bad me and Hoong Shing aint couple .. so cant really appreciate the ambience that much. But for lovers in NUS do not worry to try this out.

Me in the fancy restaurant in NUS. Much better than the ambience in restaurant located in NUS Alumni House where the prices of their food is more or less the same.

In addition, the service from the waitress I would say well-trained. Friendly and well-mannered despite we are only students. Service 4-star rated. At first, I thought the food must be somewhat expensive judging from the ambience and the service we get. But I was wrong. The food was totally affordable though the food might not come from expensive stuff. Good enough for me though.
First thing served was Mr.Wong's cappucino. So I cant resist of snapping a picture of it. And thanks to him for cooperating with me so well when I said I want to snap a picture of him drinking the cappucino. This is the look that he gave to me. Thanks, dude!!

Second to be on the list is the appetiser. THey called it Grilled XXX Sausage. Cant remember the name and I think it cost about SGD5.50 i think... Three types of sausage accompanied by ketchup i think cos it taste like ketchup...well whatever... it taste not too bad. What sausage are they I am not too sure. Just know how to eat hahahahaha

Here comes the main dish ordered by Hoong Shing. They called it Matahari Istimewa (literal translation will be The Special Sun Delight??). It comprises of fried rice, fried chicken, acar, egg, and fish fillet. If I dont remember it wrongly, I think it cost about SGD8.90. The fried rice is well well fried cos I got to taste a bit of the rice hehehe...not too oily though.. good and healthy...not that bad but of course if you tried to compared it with outside restaurant it will be a little bit off la...

Again, Mr. Wong cannot wait to devour his food. I guess he is really too hungry cos it's about 7plus 8pm hahaha ... well, I am hungry too...hehehehe...

My turn. I ordered Steamed Bulgogi XXX XXX cant remember the name :( ... It comes with a ginger fried chicken, miso soup (doesnt taste like one - more on those shredded chicken and mushroom soup with some starch in it). Well, not too bad and it was served real hot .. and I burnt my tongue :( Hwaaaaaa........... but of course I maintain my cool hahahaha

Here goes.... ITADAKIMASU!!! *Chomp*Chomp*Chomp* Ginger chicken was tender and the meat was well seasoned. It's a healthy choice cos they have Chinese cabbage, capsicum, onions and ginger. You have all the nutrition that you need in this one set meal which cost about SGD 8.90/9.90 ...

Then, lastly, I craved for some dessert but of course I share it with Hoong Shing else I cant finish it. They called it The Trio where you have ice creame of sesame, green tea and strawberry flavour with cherry, waffles, cream and chocolate rice toppings!!
Nice arrangement but of course doesnt taste as good as New Zealand located at YIH. The ice cream is much lighter, less creamy and not that smooth though... Waffle is not crispy enough. So doesnt really impress me much about it. However, in order not to disappoint the ice-cream, Hoong Shing snapped a pic for me as a memory before I gobble the ice cream up .. .scary huh...hahahahaha... the Last Moment before Death ... Hahahaha
And during dessert time Hoong Shing shared some of his really totally hillarious joke of the year with me. Because of the bread he nearly miss his flight back in Singapore when he went to a conferene in Japan. I cant stop laughing till we parted our ways cos the way he describe it is totally hillarious. I laughed till my tears are out and my stomach cramp. It is still cramping now and I cant help stop laughing when his words replayed on how he rush in to become the last passenger boarding in my head. It was really a good laugh! Thanks Hoong Shing for the good laugh and that really helps in getting rid of all the stress and tension that I am in (if you know what I am talking about... *wink*wink*). A really damn superb good one lor. HAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHA... well, share again with me some other stuffs that is hillarious which you have encountered. Judging from the way you said it, you will definitely have more to come....Looking forward in hearing them again. Hahahahhahahahhaa....
Wow..look at time. It's almost lunch time now. Alrite going to have my lunch folks. Enjoy reading! *Kisses*Kisses*

Soy bean paste noodles + Pan fried Dumpling + Brownie

It's food indulging time again. Yippie!!! Today's menu comprises of soy paste noodles, pan fried dumpling and brownie. And they are found in the place nearby where I stay and in school. The objective is to release stress and to give myself a better treat after a few weeks of hard work. But the work didnt seem to pay off well though. *Sob*sob* However, the food does really makes me get back to life. Hehehehehhee...Feeling much much better after gobbling the food down my stomach...Hee..

Soy bean paste noodles (Cha jiang mian) + Pan Fried Dumpling (Kuo Tie)
Both of the dishes mentioned are found in the Szechuan restaurant (Formosa Delights) near my house (beside West Coast Community Center-it's always full house especially with those PRC customers). It doesnt cost much though. Cheap and nice *Thumbs up* SGD 4.80 for the noodles and SGD 3.50 for the dumpling. As you can see, I am pretty much a Szechuan cuisine lover. Ranging from Taste of the Chuan to the Szechuan food at school. It seems that Szechuan dishes is a must for me weekly. I dont feel quite right if I dont eat them on that particular week. Hmm...I know what you guys are thinking...but i am definitely not a weirdo...the food capture my heart somehow...hehe.

This is how the "cha jiang mian" looks like. It consist of some parsley, spinach, tau kwa, meat and of course noodles. The tau kwa and meat are cooked with soy bean paste. Then, the noodles and vegetables are cooked over boiling water before the mixture of soybean paste are covered on top of the noodles. Well, of course you have to mixed everything together before you eat. However, I still prefer the version from another stall near my place also. Although that version has only toufu cooked with soy bean paste and zucchini, it gives you a very refreshing taste rather than this. However, this doesnt taste too bad too. You definitely wont feel oily as other types of dried noodles that you have taken.

This is how the pan fried dumpling looks like. If you notice the small saucer, it consist of ginger soaked in black vinegar. The taste of the dumpling will not be enhanced if you do not eat them with vinegar and the soak ginger. Normally, they will put vegetables and meat for the dumpling filling. In today's case, they put leeks. It wont make you feel too meaty. However, I do think that it's too oily. It will be better if they cook the way gyoza is being cooked where they pan fried it with water. I guess it will taste even better. Dumpling is a weekly must have for me too. I just love the taste. Miss my school dumplings....Great wall.....
Chocolate Brownie with Vanilla Ice Cream Toppings
This is ordererd in school where they called the place Munchies Monkey. It's a kind of western restaurant in school. The pastas, cakes, smoothies, milkshakes, pizza are not expensive if you compared with the price outside. I had this on Friday afternoon when Jiaxuan came back to school after she started her new job ... yes.. a great job which is called TEACHER... bringing up the leaders of the future... hehehhee... The except chocolate, they have some walnuts mixed in the brownies. the crunchiness of the walnut blends well with the chocolate. it's not too sweet in comparison to the brownies that I made myself from the mixed that I got it from Hershey's. It's really a sweet indulgence. But I just love it though it really store up a lot of excess fats in it.
I guess I need to cut down my food intake and more work outs for the following week. *Sigh* Me and my mouth. I just cant resist food. Totally being tempted by them.... whoever is not tempted by food do teach me a few tricks to resist the temptation... *Grins*
